Dr. Raouf Hanna
Dr. Raouf Hanna is a Board Certified specialist in Periodontics and Dental
Implants. He finished his specialty training and residency at the University
of Texas Dental Branch - Houston. He also holds a Master’s of Science degree.
Dr. Raouf Hanna currently serves as a program director and assistant professor
at the University of Texas Dental Branch, and holds appointments in both
departments of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Raouf Hanna
has published his research findings in the areas of
dental implants , bone grafting, and periodontal regeneration in several journals including
the Journal of Periodontology, one of the most respected journals in the
field. Dr. Raouf Hanna lectures on dental implants and periodontics both
nationally and internationally.
He is also a member of several dental organizations, including the
American Academy of Periodontology, the
Academy of Osseointegration, the Greater Houston Society of Periodontists, the Greater Houston Dental
Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.
He continues to expand his knowledge and skills by attending seminars and
conferences on the most recent advances in his field, as well as lecturing
on a regular basis.
Dr. Raouf Hanna is also certified in the areas of
IV sedation and oral sedation.
