Dental Implants
Dental implants are an amazing alternative to missing teeth, fixed bridges and removable partial dentures. An implant is a man-made replacement for the natural root of the tooth. The jaw bone bonds naturally to the dental implant, creating a stable, permanent solution to one or more missing teeth. This simple solution can transform how you feel about your smile—giving you back your confidence as well as an incredible, natural, and functional smile.
Your road to a restored smile begins with a consultation appointment with one of our doctors at The Comprehensive Dental Group. During your consultation, we'll review your smile and your medical history to determine if you're a candidate for dental implants. If you are, we can begin planning your procedure immediately. During the first phase, your implant post will be placed. The number of implants you have placed will depend on how many teeth our doctors will be restoring. A single implant will secure a single crown, while multiple implants can secure a fixed bridge and a full denture. Because dental implants are made from titanium, a biocompatible metal, your implant(s) will bond with your jaw bone over time, creating a firm foundation for your new smile.
In a few months, when the bonding process between your implant(s) and your bone tissue is complete, you'll return to our Houston office for phase two of your procedure. During phase two, we'll place your crown, bridge, or denture, bringing your dental implants procedure to a close.
If you're ready to experience a restored smile and want to know more about how dental implants can help, call our Houston office to schedule a consultation visit with us. Our doctors would be happy to address any questions or concerns you might have about the dental implants process, in addition to helping you decide if dental implants really are your best option.

Mini Dental Implants
Dentures can often slip and even fall out while eating or doing regular activities. Mini dental implants may be the answer to your denture problems. For people who wear denture adhesives or have ill-fitting dentures, we will place mini implants to improve the comfort and fit to your existing or brand new denture or partial. Mini implants can often be placed in the jaw without an incision in the gums and only local anesthetics. Imagine eating, speaking, and smiling with confidence again for only half the cost of traditional implants!
As an added benefit for patients, mini dental implants can be placed in just a single visit. And with a shorter recovery time than traditional dental implants, it's possible for you to enjoy a light lunch or dinner with your friends or family that same day. But first, you need to find out if you're a candidate for mini dental implants. Our doctors would be happy to consult with you about your smile's future. We can answer any questions you might have, and recommend the best course of action for your particular situation.
