CEREC: Metal-Free, All-Porcelain Crowns

Traditional crowns have a metal lining with a coat of porcelain. The porcelain-to-metal combination does not allow light to pass through, creating a dark or gray line near the gumline. CEREC provides a natural-looking alternative: all-ceramic, non-metal, crowns. These modern restorations provide a lifelike appearance that mimics natural tooth enamel and does not result in the black gumline so common with porcelain-metal crowns.
